Digital Therapeutics and Technology-Enabled Obesity Care
New possibilities in helping people with problems of obesity and metabolism emerge with digital technology. This presentation will focus on how the application of mobile applications, wearable technology, remote monitoring, teleconsultations, connected devices and digital behavior change are tested in metabolic care.
The topics covered will be digital therapeutic applications, remote lifestyle support, wearable physical activity monitors, digital nutrition tools, virtual coaching, telehealth, patient engagement, data capture, and technology-enabled behavior change intervention. Scientists will present the scientific proof for effectiveness, sustainability, usability, and integration into existing medical practices.
The issues of privacy, accessibility, digital literacy, data management and technology availability will also be discussed. The International Obesity and Metabolism Conference will become an arena for discussions about how responsible digital approaches could add to the traditional metabolic care.
