3rd Edition of International Obesity and Metabolism Conference 2027

Scientific Sessions - IOMC 2027

Obesity, Immunometabolism and Inflammation

Interaction between metabolism and the immune system is increasingly gaining relevance among scientific communities for research. The immunometabolism topic and the importance of inflammatory mechanisms in the pathogenesis of metabolic abnormalities related to excess adiposity will be discussed during the session.

Scientists will analyze the crosstalk between the fat tissue and immune cells, the involvement of inflammatory mediators, metabolic signaling, chronic low-grade inflammation, tissue dysfunction, and metabolic regulation in the body. Additionally, other aspects like tissue-specific interactions of immune and metabolic pathways may also come under discussion.

In this context, the International Obesity and Metabolism Conference will assemble scientists from the fields of immunology, endocrinology, molecular biology, nutrition, and metabolic medicine to present new research findings.
