The presence of obesity and metabolic diseases in any population varies depending on geography, culture, socioeconomic status, access to health care, genetic predisposition, diet, and environment. This session will look at variations of obesity and metabolic disease in the world while taking into account the need to take population-specific measures into consideration.
Studies can be done in different parts of the world with different geographies and cultures, analyzing eating habits, exercise habits, health care, socioeconomic status, environment, and access to preventive measures and treatments. It will be discussed how intervention programs designed for one population can be adapted to other populations.
This International Conference on Obesity and Metabolism will act as a forum to exchange ideas of successful measures in different populations of the world.
